I needed a bag for overnight trips, I had a small remnant of this fabric, that I found in a sale, I adore fabric generally and pounce like a demon on anything that is unusual as anything different is very difficult to come by here in Ireland. This fabric is a furnishing fabric weight, it was lined with a brocade and so I didnt add any interlining, It makes it a little floppy when empty, but I didnt want to add to the weight.

The seams are piped and there are more pockets inside, I adore the colour and pattern of this fabric so I added a matching beaded, tassled pull to the zipper and some cute sturdy webbing that I had.

I also enjoy the technical challenge of making the most out of a small piece. And I love stash busting! Everything in this bag I had in my (admittedly overstuffed) craft room, the metal rings are old curtain rings.

Desperately in search of popcorn flavourings-they don't sell them here Sad I have a new air popper and am stuck with boring flavours.
There's a party in my yarn stash and everyone's invited.

I love this! It's so cute.
Especially the tassle. Nice touch.  Grin

Love the bag, the tassel, and the strap!  Great idea about not adding weight!  Gorgeous bag!
