so I made this over the weekend. It's under recycled because the copper piece is actually cotton batting infused with paint that I used as a stamper for a (failed) printing project.

made with:
cotton batting, copper paint, wire, embroidery floss, 2 different types of glue.

What do you think it's supposed to be? I was picturing a specific thing when I was making it, but some people have said they can't identify what's it's supposed to be without explanation.

Of course it's a bird!! It has feet.

(despite alot of living things having feet, I wouldn't have been able to tell what it was if it didn't have feet Tongue )

I first looked at the picture thinking, hm... potato with a mustache? After dismissing that I idea I settled on bird. My mind does strange things sometimes.
But it's very cute!

I, um, thought it was a giant nose with a closed eye and a bit of hair going around the crown (like he has a wishbone balding spot) that walked around.  Undecided

There is such a "nose" person!   Cheesy

I immediately thought it was a baby chick.

Perhaps the addition of a small eye could help convince others who don't see it? I'm not sure, aside from making a beak that actually sticks out over the side a bit.

Anyway, it looks like a bird to me. A little odd bird, but a bird nonetheless.

A little odd bird, but a bird nonetheless.

That's a reasonable description of me, come to think of it...
