A couple of people have posted recently in the quilting board that their LQS rents time on their long arm. I would LOVE to do this, but haven't found anywhere to do so in the Chicago area.  Going to Batavia/St Charles/Geneva isn't out of the question, nor is anywhere in the city proper, Chicago Heights, hell, I'd even go to NW Indiana.  Any one know someplace that does this?

I believe Prairie Shop Quilts has a long arm.  I think you have to pay for lessons first and then after that you can schedule to use it by the hour.  They are in Batavia.  Also, they might have some idea of who else has one maybe(?).  Here is the website:

Good Luck!
