So, years ago,  in the months before Owen, my eight-year old, was born, I was getting ready for fall craft shows, when I started feeling dizzy and sick to my stomach. I checked my calendar, did some counting, and got an EPT kit that let me know Owen was on the way! Why did I not get these done? Placenta brain? Wanting to sleep before he got here? I don’t remember anymore, but these acrylic teardrop beads have arms, but they stop there. Below, I’ll show you how to add your own wings and heads. There are a bunch of them here, waiting for a loving craftster to add her own beads to finish them:


Here is a finished one I found with them, to remind me what I was going to make. They were to be angel earrings. Crappy pictures—I’ll try again with better lighting:

For the wings, add 1 ¼” of seed beads and form a loop, twisting twice to secure it.

Then add a pearl, and something for the halo. Whatever you have. A flat gold bead, a filigree bead cap, even a sequin will work.

Make your loop with a pliers, cut the excess wire and neaten it up with the pliers tip, and you are done!

These assorted goodies from the same box of craft stuff will come along with the angel WIP. All of this for one point!
