I have been browsing the interwebs over the past two weeks drooling over all sorts of fantastic embroidery work out there and I figure, why should I not give it a go? And today I finally got a few supplies to get my feet in the water. I bought a set of iron on transfers featuring cute little animals and I did two dogs and a little flower (the dogs reminded me of my German shorthaired pointer and my miniature dachshund). Naturally it isn't the most amazing bit of embroidery in the world, but I'm proud of my first attempt and I look forward to working on it more to hopefully get nearly as amazing as most of my fellow Craftsters out there!

Cute! The one with the spots reminds me of my Jujube Cheesy. I can't wait to see more!

I can never resist dogs!  Nice work!  And smart of you to start small.  Grin  It only gets better and more fun figuring out what you want to embroider next!  Cheesy

Thanks fatewineroses! I will certainly be sticking to the small stuff for a while, though I cannot wait to move on to bigger projects!

Oh by the way... I love your little Beaker icon-mabob! My friends call me Beaker because when I get mad I sound squeaky like him -.-!!
