Hi,

I was given a hoover sewing machine as a gift, but sadly it has no manual has anyone heard of the machine before?

It's a badged machine.

Boat loads of Sewing machine were manufactured in Japan during the 1950's, 60's and 70's and "badged" with a great variety of names.  The actual "brand name" on the machine isn't indicative of the company of manufacture, just the label chosen by the importer, retailer, dealer or department store.

I have a generic zigzag and a generic straight stitch manual that works fine with most of these badged, Japanese machines.  Let me know which one you want and send me you email address and I can email you the file.
