hey craftsters!!!
so i have started to make these prayer candles and so far i have only made hot guys that i would "pray" to.for example

Mind if I ask if you have a good source for the candles? My local supermarket has them for a couple of bucks each which isn't bad but I'd love to find the a little cheaper...

hey leah - check walmart. i did something similar at xmas except i made collages that were personalized for each person and then laminated them. then i wrapped the picture around the candle and sealed the edges together with double sided tape. that way you can still take the image off and put it on another candle when that one is used up.  i got them at walmart for 99 cents - white or colored. they also have scented ones for $1.30.

Hi Leah~
Check out the more "obscure" dollar stores in town...like the "Dollar Tree Store" - or the 98cent stores. There's a shop out here in So.California that has beautiful multi-colored earth-toned candles..the tall, thick type....for $1!

Diablo: Thank you for clarifying about the cling-ons..and how many images you usually can print per page :-)

you're going to be selling these, right?  Cheesy

personally, i like pretty boys.
i like "tim burton" style johnny depp - sleepy hollow, edward scissorhands - sweet and a bit naive with crazy crazy hair.

as far as orlando bloom (i mean, he's pretty and all) but to me he's just johnny depp for a new generation. he's too young for me anyway. i'll stick with the originator, not the imitator  Grin

I am so in love with Edward Scissorhands. He would make a great boyfriend -- since I can't cut a straight line with scissors to save my soul.

*goes running wildly ot*
Is it just me or does Johnny Depp attract many different generations of women (and men)? I mean when I went and saw Pirates of the blah blah blah... There were pre-teen girls, teenagers, 20's, 30 somethings, and even my 50 something mom swooning over Mr. Depp...

Even myself while I thought he was cute during the 21 Jump Street era, I did not hit full blown raging hormones until closer to the Edward Scissorhands era.. mmmm Johnny!

but back ontrack - I'd really like to use this method to make some Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas prayer candles for my friend.... whee!

*goes running off with my Depp action figures*
