So I tried to make my own banner for Etsy.  Saved it as a JPEG file and tried to download (upload?) it on to my Etsy site.  It looks nice on the half size version, but it is kinda fuzzy for my full size banner.  Where did I go wrong?  (Click on the Etsy link in my signature to see it)

What dimensions are the banner you uploaded?

Etsy banners are 760 x 100.  If you upload a banner that is smaller than that, it's going to stretch it to fit the space.

Your problem is that you saved the file as a .jpg
JPEGs are best used for photographs or realistic-style images where there are no flat spaces of single colour - if you try to save flat-coloured images as .jpgs they turn "fuzzy", like yours did.
Try redoing the image and saving as a .gif - should solve your problem. Smiley

Hmm, I tried saving it as .gif.  It is not longer fuzzy, but it is strange in a different way now.  The colour is spotted.  Also still having problems with the transferring of a font (downloaded on the internet) from word to paint.  It looks like it has a white outline.  But all in all, it does look better.  I am keeping it for now  Cheesy  Thanks for your help  Grin

I see what you mean, your font has an outline.  Sad

What's the name of the font you're using? I may be able to tweak it in Photoshop for you.  Smiley
