My boyfriend has just gotten into Lego sculptures. He loves old video games - if he is not playing with Legos he is playing classic arcade games! He really digs the 2D images. Here are some of the ones he did this week - his first week of trying in fact!

They are great! Crafty boys rock. He should mount them on the wall near his gaming area!

These are so cute! Especially since the lego reflects the "blockiness" of the old classic game images. =D

Oh, I love these!  My brothers are huge into Lego and one of them loves video games!  These would make neat Christmas tree ornaments... or maybe coasters... or toys (I know *I'd* play with them, but then, I also sometimes play with my Megablocks Starship Enterprise...)

He has done a fantastic job!

I saw the thumbnail and thought: Lego? No... must be embroidery. But it is Lego! I love Lego! Time to steal back the blocks my kids have taken out of MY Lego box Smiley Smiley But they also love the sculptures and want me to make some too Smiley
Thanks for the inspiration, and tell your bf he did a great job! And as for you posting his stuff for him, I am totally in favor of dragging the guys into craftster by force if they don't came voluntarily Smiley Smiley Crafting is not for sissies! Tell him craftster is like a big mouth full of 150,000 women holding huge pointy needles and he will be flung into it! Smiley Smiley If he makes it through alive, he'll be worthy of hearing some deeeep deeeep mysteries of the craft Smiley Smiley

My boyfriend is not a forum guy at all! However I passed on all the nice words and he says thanks. He sold a few last night at the local indie craft show.

That's pretty cool. My friends would love them for a minute, then take them apart... *sadness*
