I'll be in Maine visiting my mom in a couple weeks and we'll be driving from Lubec to Bangor daily. Are there any good yarn stores in Bangor, or anywhere else between Bangor and the Machias area? Not that I need to spend any more money on yarn, but I will probably be looking for things to do Smiley

Just found this--I hope you haven't left yet!  In Orono there is a great store called Fiberphilia which is right on Mill St. in the downtown area.  If you get desperate, there's always AC Moore in Bangor (on Stillwater Ave).  Most of the good knitting stores are in southern Maine, I've found (I'm from Bangor but my college is in Brunswick).  This is the most up-to-date list I've seen.

Enjoy your trip!
