It's adorable and I love it! I was wanting a centerpiece this year but never got the chance to make one.
How did you get the face to stay on the turkey?

Just toothpicks Tongue

The kids helped a bit which accounts for the random piece of broccoli in the middle...

I just love the fun when kids help! Although the cookie decorating was a little hard getting used to when they  painted red icing around the carnivorous dinosaur cookies' mouths, and dismembered the poor herbivorous dinosaur cookies complete with more red icing...("MOM! They're CARNIVORES!")

Looks like you got off pretty easy with the broccoli trim.

I'd kinda like to see this "fruit turkey" interpreted to look like a peacock...I'll bet that would go over well at other times of the year.

LOL. It's grown on me. I was so against it at first. I mean, why did they have to put it on my turkey?! Kids Tongue

It didn't actually roll around. Maybe the capsicum feet were keeping it in place...i'm not really sure.  Tongue
But you could always slice a little off the bottom of the melon to make it flat so it didn't roll about.
