I started this horse a couple of months ago, but have been working on other projects.  I finally finished it, and I think it came out really well.  This is a Swedish holiday decoration.  I have Swedish heritage on my mother's side.  She has a collection of hand carved and painted wooden dala horses.  I thought it would be a good challenge to try and make a needle felted one.

I would appreciate any comments or suggestions.

I hope I did this right!
Thanks for looking.

Always been crafty mom of 5, though now I realize crafting is cathartic as well as fun, and I am good at a lot of things!

He looks beautiful.
From what I can tell, he looks very even and well felted.
I really like how vibran and bright he is. Is that part of the traditional design?

Beautifully done and looks just like the original traditional Dala horse. Smiley
