I am definitely making this hat soon. Also, when I make a bill for my hats, I usually just sc 35-40 stitches, decrease by 2 for the first three or four rows and then sc four inches and fold the brim under.

Does it require more than one skein?

no- i only used about 1/2-2/3 of a caron simply soft skein. i made a navy blue one for my cousin, and i used a bit of the extra yarn to add a hanging tassel to the top. she loved it!

I need to get rid of stuff!! i have soap kits, bath salt kits, lip balm kits, plain canvas tote bags, fabric paints, and other stuff i'm trying to clean out. It'd be cool to swap for yarn, but i'll give it away FREE! PM me if you're interested!!!

hello!  I realize this is a year old post, but I could really use some help.  I'm pretty new to following patterns for crochet, and I'm having trouble on the 9th row.  I was wondering if someone could help me.  When I work the row, it never comes out even.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
