I have 3 cats (and a husband) in a teeny tiny 2 bedroom apartment. They eat and poop tremendous amounts (the cats that is) and I end up with leftover 20 lb bags of food and litter every other week. I noticed the cat food bags were super strong, and seemed to be made of something similar to tyvek that didn't stretch or tear. I've lusted after recycled billboard messengers forever, but where the hell do you find an old billboard? This is my improvisation.
Its totally lined with an old 70's bed sheet and all the seems are french seems. These, my friends, are a BITCH to do with this material (its really thick) if you don't have a teflon foot. I had to rip out so many stitches I got a migraine. Anyhow, here are the results. I hope its worth the effort I put into it. I don't think a tutorial is necessary because, well, its a simple design. And also I made it up as I went along.

I am an apologist for the spiders.

Just treat me no differently than you would the Tarantula Queen.

Nice. I love the way the lining matches so well with the outside.
I finally have two empty bunny chow bags to make one for myself. I just need to finish some other projects first...
