Why am I sticky & naked? Did I miss something fun?

Does anyone use one of the (two?) electronic stash organizing programs?

My husband wants to develop one for me and I'm wondering if it might just be cheaper (and faster) to buy one?

I'm looking at the Wild Ginger one and was wondering if anyone had pros and cons on how it works.

Does it seem practical?

Also, if he were to develop one, is it something any of you guys would be interested in nor would it just be a party of me and my mom using it?

I explained the idea a little better here.

I've done something like that before, and I ended up not using it, prob because I'm a visual type.  I have a big kilt pin with a swatch of fabrics on it and a hand written list of yardages.  I can take my swatches to the store  if I'm looking for something to match.
