Oooh, BRILLIANT!

I loved those little spirits in the movie, and I kept wishing I could find a plushie of them. I might have to make one of my own now!

I love the totoro and kodama, i make one too for swapping. It's a super fun to crochet kodama as it doesn't have any fix form. Are those eyes child safe?

Oh, the Kodama is fantastic!  I loved those little guys from Princess Mononoke.  I would love to make one with a rattle in his head (the only sound they make in the movie is a rattle).

Thanks for all the kind comments!

I haven't made the soot sprite yet, I got caught up in trying to complete a bunch of other holiday presents for friends and family.

The eyes are different sizes of safety eyes.

I have one more late-Holiday present to finish crocheting, and then I can get back to my plans for the soot sprite.

They are very cute.   Do you know if there is a tute for the larger grey Totoro - my daughter loves this guy!!   I would love to try my hand at making one if I have a tute!!!
