So I usually lurk, but I'm avoiding doing work, so here are two quilts I made last year for weddings:

First, a queen size maple-leaf as modeled by my twin dorm bed:

with a closeup of the monogram:

This was my first queen-size, and it was a bit of a beast, but well worth it.  **If anyone can link me to the quilt designer's website, that would be great--I'm now 2 computers later, and I can't find it anymore, though I'd like to give credit**

Second is a wall-hanging (about 2x3 feet):

(as modeled by my floor--the edges are straighter than they appear in the photo)

and a semi-closeup of the embroidery and applique:

I wish I had moved the lower embroidery up so it was off the edge a bit . . .

Shocked ooh, I love the maple leaf quilt!  I have a quilt that uses maple leaf blocks on the go at the moment.  Now I'm really excited to finish it, because I love that pattern! Smiley  Good job!

If you are working on (or thinking about starting) a postage stamp quilt with 1.5" squares, I have scraps and squares to give away.  PM me if you're interested.

Those are both beautiful, I'm sure the couples really appreciated them!  I especially like the leaf quilt - excellent color choices.  Your stitching is so neat as well.

The dance one is really cute, too.  What a great quote.  I like your font choices Smiley.

Post more of your projects!
