This was made for a friend's birthday.

It was pretty simple to make too, once I figured out how to do it.

The fruit is a red half circle sewn up to create a cone-shaped thing. And the tip is rounded.
I did a running stitch around the top of the cone, then stuffed it and pulled and secured the thread to close up the top.

It should look something like this:

The leaves are two pieces of this kind of shape

(but more even)

...sewn together and turned inside out.

The stem thing is a rectangle and a circle sewn together to make a bottomless cylinder, then handsewn to the top of the leaves. If you pull the thread tight, it should make the leaves wrinkly like this

I hope you can understand that. If not, please ask me about it.

I love it! It's so big and luscious. And you did a wonderful job.

You did a terrific job!
its so cute
you could even add dots or beads for the little things all over it
although that would take foreverrrrrr
it'd still be cute

I am open to swaps.
Just ask.

I do have a question Cheesy
What did you use to fill it with?
And do you think rice as a filling would do?

I cut up an old pillow and used the filling from that.
I've never used rice as a filling, so I have no idea how that would be, sorry.
I imagine that it would work, but probably won't be very squishy. haha
