please be kind... I've had my photoshop elements 5 program for over a year...and all I've managed to do with it is crop to smaller pics and fix red-eyes.  UNTIL TONIGHT!!  with the help of a "photoshop elements for dummies" book. I removed the cluttered background from a pic of hubby, grandbabies and me.... so the focus is on us and not the junk in the background!!  I am so pleased with myself.  its a little rough but I like it.

That's really great for a first try. I love what you did. It's too great a picture to be left the way it was. Bit more practice and you'll be loads better.

Cheesy LOL... she's my husband's neice and the reason I started trying to alter that photo... I loved having all three babies in the picture...but she was scowling at something and I wanted to edit her out... LOL

It looks good! It takes tons and tons of practice to get anything out of photoshop. at least it did for me, and a butt load of computer classes. :p

looks good!

Can I just suggest you delete all the floor. its a small change, but the proportion looks off with the floor being cut off in that spot. I think if you make the background all clouds it will look like its a purposefully fake background.

and good job with the other "little change" that one took me a moment to notice
