100% made by me! Cloth doll with hand made clothing, and acrylic painted body. Pattern based off those from "Creative Cloth Doll Making" by Patti Medaris Culea. This is the first doll I have made. She was complete in August 2008 along with Zeppalina, the other doll I worked on this summer. Her colors were inspired by the Emerald Coast in the panhandle of Florida. The shells on her front side came from the beaches live by.





I took me a few tries to get a decent head. Her sister Zeppalina was much more blessed when it comes to looks...

Thanks guys. My goal is to make my own pattern for mermaids. I grew up at the beach, and I find the gulf really inspiring. So what better way to thank the water than to portray it. Smiley
