I like your priorities ... Sewing, showering, cooking. I think that's about the right order  Wink Sorry you're without power. At least you have the net, that's pretty cool.

I am sending today. I am so excited. Everything turned out great!

I got my recipes.  Grin Since I'm doing a big cookie making day Sunday goldfishpollywog, you may get one or two random taste test cookies. Cheesy

Random is good!  I love being a taste tester!

Sorry I fell of the earth for a couple of days.  Hubby came back from work trip and needed the 'net.  Since his job DOES pay the bills... Roll Eyes

Back now.  I finished my first batch and boy is it good!  Modified a classic recipe from my 30's cookbook...This one is going in the Chrismas tradition folder I think, both my men LOVED it and I had to hide Mochaxlight's share! Grin

PlatypusProject- a can of sterno (editted, brain fell out for a moment) works great for tea, ramen, soup, etc in an outage.

I went classic with my recipes and they are tasty. When I posed the idea of baking last night, the Boy said, so how many of these do WE get to eat.  Wink They are very tasty and in the mail. Post lady gave me an odd look when I told her they were for a friend from the internet. She said she hopes my partner doesn't send me poison. lol. Some people just don't get it   Cheesy

I specifically asked in my profile that rat poison and broken glass NOT be added to my cookies...just to be on the safe side. Wink

I am baking right now. I picked up mailing supplies today so I can send off tomorrow! I hope my partner has her power back on. Showers are what I live for in the morning!

lol... yeah, like we are really going to poison the cookies AFTER providing our name and address.... sheesh!  I mean I know it's good to be safe on the internet...but some people are just waaaay too paranoid. lol.  The only thing my partner may be in danger of is death by chocolate, however I haven't known a chocolate chip that is lethal yet! lol

I think my partner is more in danger or paper cuts from recipe cards, or possibly an injury if she drops the 4 1/2 pound box on her toe. lol. Wink
