So basically this what happened...
Woke up this morning (two in the afternoon) when blast of cold wind came through my airing window and
brought some snow along. Yay! Fantastic! Finally! Of course being hungover couldn't react right away as was
in pain and agony (I know, I know. It was self-inflicted). Anyway, when I finally managed to drag my butt
to the grocery store, I realized I wanted to have some pics of the first blizzard of the year.
Note! I have a really nice camera, had it since last Christmas, but still haven't figured all the settings and tools.
So excuse me for the varying quality. Word quality used in its loosest sense.

My street

My backyard. Various shots in various settings. For the lighter pics the ISO was 1600. See! I know the lingo! Such a pro. Me.

For this one I was used a Cooling Photo Filter in Photoshop

No need to comment  Smiley The pics look like crap. I am painfully aware of this fact. I am just so excited to have snow!!!

You did a better job than I would. I took a photogrophy class, and I still suck. I like digital camera's because I can take 50 pictures and delete all but the best, so it looks like I know what I'm doing.
I like the last one the best. It looks almost spooky. I really like the abandoned playground with the fresh blanket of snow. It's peacefully, and lonely at the same time.

We abuse land because we regard it as a commodity belonging to us. When we see land as a community to which we belong, we may begin to use it with love and respect.

i love personal swaps. i'm looking to swap my art or paper crafts for some re-usable fabric snack bags, fabric sandwich wraps, fabric paper towels, glass pendants, ephemera, or art books.

What camera do you use?

My camera is a Sony Cybershot and the model number is DSC-H9. Like I said I'm still figuring it out. And thanks for you all for your
nice words! Gives me confidence to shoot more pics!

Very cool!  I have a Cybershot too, but I forget which model it is.  Keep it up! Smiley

Yay snow! You're so lucky, we get an inch every once in a while and it melts the next day. It's quite depressing. Sad I just can't wait to go sledding!
