The girls high school is hosting a Friday night dinner to help raise money for the school. They asked me to do the centerpieces for each table.

Each table will include the centerpiece, a scrapbook of articles the school has had published and a frame with the list of sponsors. So as you can guess the centerpiece had to be smallish.

The colors we chose are black, pink, green and white. Which worked for me cause I had extra fabric from my daughters room makeover. Bonus! Smiley

The idea sprang from a free pattern on Amy Butler's site.

Please tell me what you think. Do they need anything? Are they silly looking? Input appreciated. Smiley

Once they are on the tables I will spread the branches out a bit.

I cut out 120 leaves with pinking sheers, glued them to the wire I also cut. Stuck the wires into foam, and into the vases. Stuff the vase with paper, then glued rocks around the top of the stems. It took at least 40 hours of my time to make. I'm such a sucker...I did them at no charge to the school. Roll Eyes

Thank you for any comments or suggestions. Smiley

Clever idea! I like.
The only thing I might do different is a little more variety in height, but that can be accomplished by bending the wires like you said.

Thank you sactownsue!

The dinner went very well. We had 210 people, raised a good amount for the school and the food was YUM! Everyone liked the centerpieces, too. Smiley
