My daughter turned 13 this month and instead of having a "real" party she wanted to take some of her friends to see Twilight when it opens this weekend.  Luckily I was able to put my foot down and not go to the midnight showing.  Roll Eyes

Since the party is off-site and we're not doing really anything conventionally, I didn't really get to do any of the "crafty" things I normally do for her birthdays; but I *did* get to make some invitations for her.  Grin  I figured since we have so many Twilight-crazy peeps on here that some might enjoy seeing it.

Outside - Twilight cover altered  and text added in Gimp.

Invitation inside envelope - Envelope made from tracing paper. I figured it would look cool.

I'm not a Twilight fan, but these are quite cool.  Very professional looking, I like the font on the inside.  Bonus points for the tracing paper envelopes.

Sometimes you gotta create what you want to be a part of.
