I was inspired by the crocheted genitalia here on Craftster to make this vibrator cozy for the Fruits & Veggies swap.  I think it turned out hilarious  Wink

AMAZING MELINDA!  SIMPLY A-MAZING!!  Shocked
How did your swap partner like it?

When I saw "minor adult content" I did a quiet "yesssss" to myself (Kip Dynamite style)

If our crocheting fore-mothers could only see us now!  Wink

Thanks for the nice words, guys!  I didn't really figure out a pattern, per se, but I will tell you what I did.  It was pretty easy.  I made it out of acrylic yarn, so that it's easily washable.  I started with a chain-3 and then I used the first chain stitch as the "loop" to sc into in the round.  Then I just kept single crocheting in the round, without joining rounds, and increasing randomly.  I didn't want any even increases because I wanted the end to be cone-shaped, not flat.  I also made it kinda big, so it would fit over different sizes of vibe.  Once I got it to the diameter I wanted, I just single crocheted evenly around and around.

When it was as long as I wanted, I finished off the yarn.  To make the peeled bits, I counted how many stitches I had, divided by 3, and added the triangles, making them as wide as a third of the round row.  Then I went back with the brown yarn and randomly added a few stitches to the ends of the triangles and crocheted a small circle of brown single crochet in the pointy end.  I made the peeled bits so that it would stand upright, fitting over a vibe standing on end, like the way toaster covers slip over the toaster  Grin
