I found some great heavy drapery fabric at Joann's (Msajor Score, store closing sale, YESSSS! HUGE discount!) I wanna make some drapes for my living room, but I'm a little unsure about the lining material. I priced some at the new Joann's store and it's quite expensive (15 yards YIKES)... are there any creative, budget friendly, alternatives you might suggest using?

Thanks!!! Cheesy

Just got back from Joann's... chatted up the friendly home-decor department manager and got all the answers to my questions, made a new craft store friend AND got the lining fabric for $3.50 a yard (Oh MAN I LOVE 50% off coupons!!!)...

Just so happens I ALSO discovered they have Layaway too!!! WHO KNEW THIS EXISTED at a CRAFT store??? OMG, I'm SOOOO gonna be in trouble! .. I scored a new serger on Major Discount!

Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas And Happy New Year TO MEEEEE!  Grin

Glad you got the lining material. FWIW, I lined our living room drapes with lightweight flannel. My DH calls them "window blankets."
