So my parents have drank this lady in red wine for like 6 years and NEVER threw away the bottles. So now I'm left with like 50 million empty bottles of wine. Pretty sure this would be under glass crafts. If not sorry  Roll Eyes  This was pretty much all recycled. I thought I'd make it an early Thanksgiving present for my mom. Before putting up the pics I have to admit, I HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO WORK WITH GLASS. Had no professional tools, this was just one of those late night (3am) ideas I get. So I found you can really break glass with string+alcohol+fire+cold water. Unfortunately the hole I made for the cord ended up having half the bottom come off, but gorilla glue saved that. haha. Then mod podge covered up the ugly dryed gorilla glue Smiley

Broke it while trying to make a nice hole, ultimatley failing

Finished Product Pictures don't do much justice. They kinda make it look like crap. Tongue

Thanks everyone! If anyone is going to make this I put tissue paper on the inside of the glass to make it look frosty, totally ignoring fire safety. I wouldn't do that! I'm going to try putting spray paint in the bottle instead. So I'll post pics when thats done Cheesy (Hopefully by sometime tonight)

If you don't put anything in the bottle you can see the cords from the lights and it doesn't look too bad-but I like it better frosted Cheesy

OH and I used a string of 35 lights but I'd actually go for less like 20!

Anyway thank you!

To any recent swap partners: I apologize immensely for slacking. I got completely bogged down in a lot of different things and decided to just flake out on my Craftster responsibilities instead of fixing my mistakes. I'm so sorry.
