i made some more 'gnomes'. finally got around to using the acorns that were lovingly collected for me Wink
my favourites are the ones with hair.

and i made some painted ones. i need to get new brushes that kids have destroyed all of mine so i had none with a decent tip on them. anyways, i had fun making them regardless of their imperfections and my daughter adores them. im going to pick up some good brushes and more paints on sunday Smiley

AAAAACK! my daughters would go completely nuts over these!! Something soooooo simple! They would play with these longer than Bratz! I am doing a homemade Christmas this year and I would LOVE to use your idea and personalize some for my girls! Would you mind sharing where you got those wooden peg looking things? Thanks in advance!! *squeals*

Childhood flashback!!!!  When I was about 4 or 5 my dad went to Germany and brought back a little wooden sled with 5 or 6 holes in it where 5 or 6 little people fit.  They looked very much like your pointy hatted gnomes - each a different color and each with matching felt scarves.  They had sweet, simple fces painted on - I LOVED them - wish I knew where they went.
Fun little people - good job!

Low and behold they have them at Michaels!! They even have Boy ones and child size (in comparison) ones!! It is like 2 for 1.17. It is cheaper on ebay but, with the shipping and waiting I felt it was worth it to impulsively buy them at Michaels!
