Wow what an improvement! It's so cute.

Love is patient, Love is kind, It does not envy; it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude it is not self-seeking it is not easily angered it keeps no record of wrongs. love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth It always protects always trusts, always hopes, always perserveres

well that is sparkly goodness if I've ever seen it! and i'm excited to see what you did with the rest of the brown dress Smiley

love is a verb, not a noun.

God is Good. God is Love.

LOVE!!!  You are gorgeous too, by the way...and don't worry, I am not a creepy old man or anything....28 yr old stay at home mom actually!  I just think you look great-the dresses are awesome!  Keep on keepin' on!

The black fabric inserts are just what that glitter dress needed. Now it's snazzy without being blindingly over the top. At first glance, I didn't really "get" the white dress. But then when I saw the original brown one and went back to see what you did... that was a good call. I like it. I need to do more thrift store shopping (had to wait for Halloween to blow over because dd was terrified to go in there).

oh my! I've loved every single dress you've posted so far - but this sparkly one takes the cake. seriously. I ran out and bought a BUNCH of jersey knit fabric the other day, hoping to make a few of my own... but I'm curious about something, and I was hoping you might offer me some advice before I cut up all my fabric with the wrong idea in mind.

Right after Halloween, I bought some ridiculously cheap black costume fabric. It's stretchy like jersey, but 50% opaque so I was thinking that I could line my [bright] purple jersey with it, since the purple is 75% opaque. I also wanted to use it for the bottom and for the sleeves, essentially like you've done with the gold dress. But - how have you done the bottom of the dress? do you put elastic in it, or is it enough that the black jersey is smaller so it becomes snug?

Hot Da** that sparkly dress is DA HOTNESS!!!!   You have a really good eye, because that original look was a HOT MESS!  Cheesy

Seriously, that's some great work!  I know you've inspired me!
