thanks,,,,and YAAAAYYY! the lady said i could post the link to her blog page,,,, the pics of hers looks different then what mine turned out, i washed mine about 30 mins,,,i checked on it every 5-10 minutes,,,,and i used patons classic wool,,,,,,,,i made one yesterday with the lionbrand lion wool,,,,it hasnt shrunk up as good,,, they are both 100% wool, but the patons is "new" wool, i wonder if that  makes a difference,,,,,,i also used a J hook,,,,,,,,,i didnt realize i was supposed to a I hook until half way thru the hat,,, but it turned out anyway,,if there is a problem with the link let me know, thanks

this is the hat made from the lion wool i was telling about,,, i washed and washed and just didnt shrink up like the 1st one,,,,,,,,i guess i can minus some of those "hdc in each stitch" rows to shorten if i use that yarn again,,,,i just rolled the brim tighter,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Undecided
