I've been meaning to make these for *years*, but I just always got caught up in Christmas gift making that I never had much time for decorations. Since I have PLENTY of time on my hands these days, I decided to just sit down and do them.

They were super fast, maybe a half hour each..tops. I think some other colors might be fun, like a white tree with aqua and magenta accents. They are also pretty cheap to make so I definately could make more.

This white one might look kind of sparse as far as decor goes, but the yarn is just so soft and fuzzy with a hint of sheen...that it really didin't need much added decoration.

EDIT: The pictures must be a little to large since they look a little distorted here, but I have nicer versions on Flickr Smiley

The green one is probably my favorite, I might even make another one just because it looks so Christmasy to me Smiley

See that glittery Noel decoration? I just bought that for $2.50 in the $1 (haha yeah doesen't make sense) section at Target! I love all things glittery. That would also be super easy to replicate with wooden letters from Michaels.

Thanks!

All I did was wrap different yarns around styrofoam cones, then glued on decorations  Grin

The white one was just different fluffy white yarns that I've accumulated, and the green is some type of eyelash yarn.

I've had the green one for years though so I don't remember what is it....but I'm *almost* positive it's from Bernet  Grin

Cute! The green one could almost get turned into a monster disguised as a christmas tree. But maybe that's just me...
