i like the one with the vertical stripe but what about putting the stripe below the white paper?

I agree, I like the vertical stripe, but layer it so it goes purple, pretty white stripe, white paper.

I think this would look great, and personally I'd love to see it with right aligned text. Right aligned text feels so neglected!

I like the second one. the one in the middle.. the one with the white section on the side. it seems very elegant to me. beautiful.

isn't it!? i used to right align for my 10th grade teacher because she was a bit of a rebel back in her day and it always made her smile

Since you like the vertical one the best I'll give my opinion on it: I think it has too much visual weight on the left. It makes it unbalanced...but if you put the stripe under the white paper I think it might look more evenly balanced. (we'd have to see it)

That being said: I like the third one the best. it looks very clean and professional, and the background won't detract from the print.

The third is my favorite.  It is very simple and elegant.  I would probably like the second more if the pretty paper was under the plain paper.
