These mittens are gorgeous. I definitely want to give this a shot once I'm a little more confident in my knitting skills. Cables scare me...

Those are beautiful!  They're not exactly like the cables on Bella's mittens, which to me looked more like the antler cable pattern in "Son of Stitch 'n' Bitch," but a wonderful interpretation nonetheless.

I am not good at the circulars, but I wonder if it can be done on straight needles and sew up the seam.
