Hey All. I was in Alabama this weekend and went to The Knit Shop in Montgomery. It's on Carter Hill in the Mulberry Forest Ave Area, near Huntington and the Country Club. Anyway... The Knit Shop shares space with and antiques place and is beautifully furnished and they have loads of beautiful yarn. They carry Colinette, Plymouth, Berroco, K1C2. The staff was very accomodating and even stayed open late so II coul;d get my yarn fix.

I know this was posted in 2004, and it's now 4 years later, but since then The Knit Shop closed due to lack of business and the owner wanted to spend more time with her family. They had a fantastic going-out-of-business sale though. Does anyone know of any other decent LYSs in the Montgomery/Prattville area? I tried The Needle Bug once but they have a very limited selection of yarns, they're mainly needlepoint stuff.
