I attempted a standard dishcloth by starting with three stitches and adding 2 each row. Then I ran out of yarn.  It wasn't until I took it off the needles that I realized it looked like a sunset. So It's my little sunshine dishcloth that makes me smile every time I go into the kitchen.

TUTORIAL!

Materials:
Cotton worsted weight yarn
Sz 8 needles (or to gauge recommended by yarn)

CO 3 stitches.
First row: Knit front and back of first two stitches, Knit remainder of row (Increases stitch count by two at the beginning of the row.)
All the other rows: Repeat that until you've got about 50 or so stitches on the needles.
Cast off.

Basically this was a failure of my ability to read directions when starting a standard dishcloth. Instead of one increase per row I made two, which increased the rows so fast they curved over each other making a semicircle.
