Glad you liked it lilmissdogooder! I'm glad to share my lotus obsession.
Here's what I sent. (Hope I'm not ruining any surprises):

Front... and Back.
I've been experimenting with photoshop and photo transfer paper lately. I love how this product feels kindof leathery.  I used offwhite canvas as my base and just stitched around.

I got all three of mine!

From KnitKitty (Who is Kellie, by the way, everybody): Peace and Love, with hot pink ribbon and shiny paper and stickers on it, and shiny gold ribbon on top. Pretty!

From JessiCakes: a graffiti bookmark, which tells us: "learning from experience is like drawing without an eraser." That's deep.

From SnowWhiteSuicide: A collage of pretty girls from the fifties or so, with revealing clothing. Ooh la la!

Thank you so much, KnitKitty, JessiCakes, and SnowWhiteSuicide -- they are all tres cool! And thanks to everybody for participating in this swap. Smiley You can see the original swap thread for info on who's received from whom. Please remember to let me know, either in a PM or on one of the threads, when you receive bookmarks.

Yay!

I have all three of mine!! Thanks to my partners!! I have a list of pics to post to craftster tonight, those are on the list! I got my Canadian swappers back in the mail, for I am a dumbass and only put one stamp on. Hold your applause. I will put it back in the mail tomorrow. Sorry about that Jessica.

SWS, I actually held off on mailing mine to our Canadian swapper Psyche until I was visiting Toronto, a couple days after the due date. I wondered if she'd notice -- guess not. Hee!

Canadians charge tax on stamps! Odd.

Haha.. American stamps DON'T have tax?  Lucky   Wink   But yeah.. Canadian mail is pretty fast within the same province...

No, I think the rationale is that mail delivery is already a government service, so adding sales taxes to stamps would be double-paying the government... I can't remember if they charge tax on the packaging materials you can buy there and so on, though. Hmmm.

I'm not in this swap or anything, but on the whole postage thing, the postal service is part of the Federal government, so no, stamps aren't taxed. However, if you were to purchase boxes, tape, etc. because they aren't a federal service, but rather goods sold in your state, they should be subject to any state or local taxes. Hope that all makes sense.  Smiley

A) I've got my last bookmark, from Snowwhitesuicide, and it's a lovely pin-up one (I am a fan of pin-ups  Smiley )  It looks like this swap is completed then! Good job everyone...

B) I decided to post a picture of the other 2 bookmarks I sent out that didn't get posted as pictures:

The first one says "the world is caving in, the mirror reads your sin, the night will never end, it's just starting to begin".. and the other (the pink and black bookmark mentioned before) says "we are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams"
