I love the putting the rings on a paintbrush idea! Never would have though of that.

The jewelry is all very pretty too, btw.

Very pretty stuff! I love the Chinese pendant. I agree that it would be beautiful on a black velvet cord... You might also play with putting it on something very simply beaded - like just small pearls (faux or real - 4mm maybe?) or about the same size in a faceted black bead. I think that could be lovely and make it a little more special without detracting from the piece. I agree though that I wouldn't add any other focals of any kind - nothing that dangles or is particularly large.

Your rings are so fun; I love them! Are they done on stretch cord?

Thank you to everyone for the advice and comments.

They are made with tiger tail wire.  I found this to be more sturdy.

Ah, yes, tiger tail is wonderful stuff. I just didn't see any crimps, but now I think I do... center of the underside on each ring? Do you thread it through once or twice?

Yes, they are on the underside.  I thread it once and feed the ends through a few beads.  I double crimp because this helps hold it together better with repeated on and off action, and the crimp tool is wider than one crimp bead.
