I was tired of cleaning up muddy paw prints off my back seat after trips to the dog park...instead of paying $75 for one of those seat covers, I made this cover, ended up costing me around $15!!

Amazing idea!!!  I love how it makes a little doggie hammock so if you stop short the poor little dog won't fall between the seats!

very cool!  so much cheaper than buying one--plus yours is prettier!

a question--how does it attach on the back? i see the front attaches to the head rests.. but what about the back?

I actually made straps to connect to the child seat hooks i have in the back.  We'll see how they hold up there.  I might have to connect them to the seat belts instead.

My mom made one too but she has headrests on both sets of seats and hers stays up really well.

Wow!  What a great idea!  I need to make a really thick one since one of our dogs is a SharPei mix and his hair sticks INTO fabric.

Great idea!!!!!!!

Awesome!  I just saw one of these for the first time yesterday and commented to my husband that we needed one but they were all in ugly colors and WAYYYY too expensive.  I don't know why I didn't think of making one! (that's usually my first reaction to everything I see!)  You have inspired me.  My three dogs thank you!

That's great. The way it's hanging would also discourage them from getting in the front where they might get hurt or cause an accident, too.
Sweet pup, too!
