There should be a twelve step program for crafting

Hi! This was made by my hubby. He makes these alot as gifts and each is different and awesome! This is the first one I've posted though:) This is made on a lathe with one solid piece of wood. He uses carving tools to make the shape and the rings. Then he sands it and uses tung oil to finish it, since it won't hurt the baby who will be chewing on it. These are just so cool. I love the stuff my husband makes!!

Lovely!  I was just looking at something similar in a store for my son due in a few weeks but it was just a teether ring.  I love that it can be both a rattle and a teether!  Fantastic!

Thanks!!!!
Did you end up buying it? We saw one almost exactly like this in a store this summer (he's been making them longer though) and it was around 25 bucks.
I like the ones my hubby makes better because they are all different, and because I know what goes into them. i love bragging on him!

That is too awesome! I would definitely buy one of those for a baby in my life.  I love it so much more than the traditional Walmart ones!!!

I love this!!! My daughter teethed on anything wood she could get her hands on!!!! The back of the church pews (I used to have to wash them whenever we went just in case), clothespins - anything. This would have been perfect!!!
My daughter is pregnant and I would love something like that for her baby! Your hubby does great - no wonder you love the stuff he makes!!!

Thanks to you too!
My son (who is 3 1/2) still prefers wood to chew on. He's tried to steal every one of these that the DH has made....I feel bad that Geoff wasn't making these when he was born:(

My husband and I were talking more tonight about selling these. We might end up doing that. PM me if you want me to let you know. He's worried about a lack of interest....
