Yay! Now I will always know where my bobbins are! I'm always looking for bobbins because the container I keep them in always gets knocked over and my bobbins fall on my messy bedroom floor. I am so happy now.  Grin

I went to Staples and there were three sizes of these binder things.  Can anyone tell me what inch size works best?

The ones I had around were either skinny, medium, or really big - not sure how they are measured Huh

I picked a middle-sized one - about the sized I could slip my pinky into (I was hoping that my pics on page 1 showed some scale when I left one empty.) The skinny ones pinch the thread at the tip of the ring, and they fall out of the bigger ones.  Could you just bring a bobbin with you and try it out?

If anybody does find out which measurement it is, could you let us know?

That's a GREAT idea!!!  Unfortunately I *JUST* threw out a booklet with one of those spiral thingys.  I even took the spiral thing off so I could recycle the paper and didn't save it.  Wish I saw this sooner, my cat loves my bobbins and is constantly stealing them.

Do people wake up in the middle of the night, and jump out of bed with idea's like these?  "Oh, I just can't sleep until I try to fit my bobbins inside the back of that recipe book I just plucked off the shelf at the grocery store!"  I honestly can't wait to recycle a book back into one of these.  My bobbins are driving me nuts rolling around at the bottom of the drawers and tangling themselves together!  Love it, Thanks for sharing.  Kiss

Those "one hour" patterns never take that kind of thing into consideration.  They automatically assume you've already spiral bound your bobbins.
I don't know what I don't know. But I want to know.

Might I say that this is the MOST amazing idea?  I owe you a debt of gratitude. I am making you my new best friend for life.  For LIFE. Honest.  I love you, man!
