Lots of scrapbooking magazines are closing their publications now too!  I like the Somerset series of magazines, and I get great scrapbooking ideas from the Somerset Memories, but also the Somerset Studio mag is great for inspiration too, if you are looking for a little bit more "non-traditional" style.  I also like Scrapbook Trends, but they are VERY expensive (and they don't offer much in the way of instruction).   Hope that helps!

the ad space is necessary to make the magazing thicker (if you hadnt noticed, most adds piggy back other editorials and things like that)

plus, the ads themselves can be really inspiring (BasicGrey and BoBunny are always fun)

i just wish more people understood that ads are nec. (dont get me wrong, i CANT watch commercials, cos there are too many, but i know they exist for a good reason and i will watch them if i havent seen them before)

anywho....

i read Creating Keepsakes and PaperCrafts pretty much exclusively. i love Simple Scrapbooks and Scrapbooks Etc. but when it comes to quality and style, they always lose out at the checkout counter against the other 2 (i finally renewed my subscription to both Smiley )
