This was my first knitting project!  Aside from my little rectangle practice piece which is now a blanket for my ferrets - they love it!

This was an idea I had - my own pattern.  Would make some changes if I were to make another pair.  Would make the top a bit smaller so that it doesn't look quite so bulky, and also would have made them a bit longer to cover my boots and jeans a bit more.

Overall quite pleased how well (for a 1st project) they came out - there may be hope for me yet!!!    Smiley

Adorable!  I love the fur on the bottoms.

I love seeing other ferret-lovin' knitters, BTW.  My first circular swatch became a cowl for our baby ferret -- one of the older ones kept scruffing him when we first brought him home, so if he wore the cowl, she would grab that and he'd be able to slip out of it and escape!  Grin

Grin  Do you have ferrets too?
I would love to knit them a little sweater or something - I am sure they would hate it - we have two silly boys and they don't like dressing up Smiley
Have you made ferret clothing or anything?
Thanks for writing back!

We have five ferrets (two boys, three girls).  My husband says I'm not allowed to dress them up -- although every time I start an armwarmer, I think how easily it could be converted into a weasel sweater! It's just as well, they all hate being dressed up.
