Aww, that's a sweet little pin cushion.  Needle and wet felting seem like magic to me - I'm in awe of anyone who can do them.  WTG, Ekioart!

Fidget, i received your package in the mail today!  Smiley

The process of unwrapping my new pincushions(!!!) was a treat already ~ seeing them assembled on my ironing board left me in complete amazement.

Pin cushion enthusiasts, be prepared for considerable awesome-ness ahead:

Fidget made me a super-cute strawberry pincushion & a BEAUTIFUL and personalized biscornu ~ straight from my wists! ~ it is attachable to my sewing machine as well as my wrist!

AND:  Shocked

... not one but TWO more beauteous pincushions ... one of them can be worn as a ring!

As extras i received yummy local candy and a little jar of thread heaven! ~ two other essentials every stitcher should possess.  Cheesy

Fidget, thank you sooo so much for all the goodies and for a truly wonderful swap!  Kiss

Glad you like it stitch81 ^-^ It was a lot of fun to make. The wool came from a random batt I bought with the hopes of pretty colors inside, and it was a sherbet rainbow inside a woolly gray layer.

Fidget, I recommend just going for it ^-~ I just started playing with it all when I fell in love with wool. it's always trial and error, and it makes for some wicked fun in the kitchen.

Nannetta, those are really pretty ^-^ and the ring one is a cool idea!

This has been such a fun swap!

I received my pincushion in the mail today!  It is perfect!  I would love to show you a picture right now but my camera is not a night owl Angry So I'll just patiently wait until the sun comes up and I can show you.  Loves2experiment really picked a style and colors that suit me.  Thanks!!

Fidget the strawberry you made is so sweet - the ribbon detailing is great.

Thanks, HSG and E.D.

I found a tutorial for making the ring pin cushion online somewhere (google "pointer finger pin cushion").  It's super simple: 3.5" square, fold in a triangle, stitch, turn, poke corners, stuff very firm, sew turn hole closed and end together!  Major bang for the buck.

Edited to add link to Don't Look Now, the blog where I found the great tutorial for the ring pin cushion.  Always give credit where credit is due.  Wink

The clip-on pincushions are beautiful... but I am SO glad I never got into the habit of sticking them into my clothes!  Very lovely job, Nannetta!

And the felted pincushion -- I would wear that as a brooch, it's so pretty!

I just love the biscornu and strawberry, Fidget... very feminine and dainty.  I think I may need one of those ring pincushions, too -- very cool!

So many amazing pincushions in this gallery.  I have to say that I'm impressed with all the hard work and great stalking going on!  Nice work, everyone! Smiley

Fidget, that biscornu pincushion is fantastic!  The sheepy button in the center is too cute!

Yay!  I'm glad my partner has received her pincushion Cheesy
