so this would be my first foray into making anything pregnancy related, and I'm pretty happy with the way it came home...a friend of mine is about 6 1/2 months pregnant and getting to the point that she cant get comfy enough to sleep for long at night so we went to the store today and she looked at pregnancy pillows, they were $15-$20 a piece and I told her she wasnt going to buy it because I could make one for her for way less, so off to Joanne's we went she picked out some black fleece from the remnants bin for $3.94 and i picked up a bag of fiber fill for $2.99 came home and made this! I looked online to figure out a general shape and then I began

I drew out the shape on freezer paper lined the edge up on the fold of the fleece ironed and then cut

if you didnt understand what i meant about putting it on the edge this is what the fabric should look like when you open it up

then pin but leave enough open at one side to flip the fabric inside out and so you can still stuff then sew flip and stuff

whip stitch the hole closed and you're done! easy as pie

took me about an hour from start to finish, now I just need the lucky lady to wake up from her afternoon nap so I can give it to her Smiley I am very very happy with it and I think she will love it and hopefully be able to sleep longer at night...what do you lovely craftsters think?
