When my husband & I were married almost two years ago, I wanted a wedding topper and was willing to be very flexible.  My husband thought it was "strange" to have mini people on our cake.  So after discussing possibilities, talking with my father in law (who is a very talented/artsy man, along with my mother in law),  this was made.  I did not make this. I just approved the design.  My husband came up with the idea & my father in law made it two nights before the wedding in a number of hours.  I think it came out pretty well.

As you can tell my husband was a Comp. Sci Major.  This is Tux, the "Mascot" of a computer operating system called Linux.
Here is more info on him: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tux.  Have to love wikipedia. Wink

Very cool... love the Linux Penguins!

Your FIL did a fantastic job, and especially in that amount of time.  He must have an artistic bent!

Those are too cute. There's no way I could make something turn out like Tux, instead of just a generic penguin. We <3 Tux. When making a sign for my son's bedroom door before he was born, we found a "baby Tux" and put it on there.
