This year, I have decided to do some charity knitting.  This is my first chemo cap.  I used a very soft green yarn and some black eyelash yarn.  I did a simple lace pattern on the hat and then thought that maybe a chemo patient would not like the lacey holes; but when I tried it on, I did not think the lace was very obvious.  What do you think??

The action shot.

Close-up of the lace pattern.  Sorry about the bad picture Sad

I bow before you - doing lace work with that sort of yarn. I usually keep to garter stitch when I am battling all the fuzzies of eyelash/fun fur yarn.

Truth be told, lace and other stitch patterns do not show up well with eyelash/fun fur yarn. So it's not really worth the effort.
On the other hand, perhaps the chemo patient will  appreciate "the hidden" lacework.

Happy knitting,
Janey (Janey2 on craftster)
