Hey all! I vaguely proposed this a long time ago, more to figure out exactly how it would work. But now I'm curious as to whether people would want to do it. The way this would happen is like this:

1) You would send in a questionnaire telling me whether you can do Step 1 or Step 2 crafts. Examples:
Step 1: dyed roving, dyed fabric, spun yarn, making paper
Step 2: spinning yarn from dyed roving, making clothes or other stuff from dyed fabric, crocheting or knitting from the spun yarn, making books/journals from the paper
Ideally, everyone would be able to do a few things, so I could be sure to partner up people who could finish the first item.

2) Partner A makes two things--say, dyes two chunks of roving. Partner A then sends them both to Partner B.

3) Partner B works their magic and does the second step (in this case, spins the roving into yarn). Partner B keeps one of the items, and sends the first one back to Partner A.

Does this sound interesting to anyone? I'm willing to organize if it does.

I'm not doing personal swaps right now, but if you're interested, go ahead and PM me anyway--maybe we can work it out for later. Smiley
