Teddy bears come in many shapes and sizes - some are knitted others are crocheted, some are made with fabrics or fur-like material. Some teddies are modern whilst others are traditional, so why not display your fiber craft in the form of a teddy?! You can get rid of some of your 'stash' and at the same time you can help a disadvantaged child (if you choose to donate it!)

Post your hand-made teddy bears here!

... and for those of you who want to take up the challenge:

Your mission:
- Make a teddy bear.
- Ensure it is child friendly!
- Find a child that does not have a teddy bear (think shelters, orphanages, hospitals).
- Donate it!
- Take and post some pics!

If you're up for the challenge commit yourself here by posting your name, age and location!
Alternatively post your teddy creation (even if you choose to keep it!)

Tracy, 28, Pretoria, South Africa!

I'm going to give this pattern a go! But I'm going to make it from some brown and white felt I have in my stash!

I liked the bear pattern on the other link. I think I might make my own pattern for a 2D teddy. I like teddy bears, so I might make one for me too.

Thanks for joining Ariethine! I have one teddy 60% done - have been too busy doing other things! Am hoping to have it done by the weekend.
