I will always be up for different types of bookmarks! As it is, I just peeked into my stitch dictionary and found a stack of stitch patterns that suitable for bookmarks. Hmm... Should I attempt colourwork?

Yay, groups! I really don't think groups of 5 would involve too much crafting time. After all, that's pretty standard for an ATC swap, and I think bookmarks are on a par with ATCs, time- and effort-wise.

Of course, there can be a really wide range of styles...paper bookmarks, cord/braid book thongs, cross-stitched straight- or corner-style, magnetic ones, metal post/wire markers....I could go on.... Cheesy

So, would this be crafting for a specific persons tastes or do we just get to run wild with it?  There are so many possibilities, I'm like a kid in a candy store.

I'd personally like it if all the members of the group would be different personalities (and different types of crafters!), so the results would vary a lot. I would like to get a bunch of totally different bookmarks Smiley

This swap interests me too. I am a newbie crafter who has never participated in a swap, and I think that this swap would be a nice, low-stress first swap for me. Oh, and I'm a librarian, so I can always use more bookmarks.

I'm really loving all the interest this swap is getting. I also like how open everyone is to new things. This makes the organizers' jobs easier too!  Cheesy

As someone who has never participated in a swap before, this seems like a great swap to get my feet wet with!

Knuffletje, as a rule, beginner swappers are brilliant, because they are so stoked to be swapping in the first place, and bookmarks will definitely be a great place to get your feet wet simply because of the options open to you when making bookmarks, and not to mention, virtually every craft can be utilised in the making of bookmarks! (That said, I'd be hesitant about using a bookmark made of glass... to breakable! Too gorgeous!)
