Hello...
I'm attempting my first transfers.  I've printed out some lovely pictures/graphics in black and white and was just wondering if anyone has ever colored on a transfer with crayons, markers, color pencils etc. and how it turned out...

Thanks!

I would think the crayon would melt...dunno if that would be bad or not...

I remember a long time ago, at some picnic thing, they had sheets like colouring books that you coloured with crayons and they put it on a shirt (iron on)

I've also done iron ons where you color with crayons on paper.  I don't know if they were special crayons or not though.

Would it be okay to paint an iron on transfer with fabric paint?

Just Al: It's hard to describe Jason. It feels good.
Me: Oh. I thought maybe it was like heartburn or something.

To fail is to try in the first place.

i have coloured a transfer, after printing, but before ironing on too, and basically, the inks are underneath the protective layer when you have flipped it over.........so they are safe!

The wax crayons also work, from just normal paper too, remembering to design in mirror writing if there is any..........  The clothing must always be washed on a cool wash, hot temperatures will melt whatever wax is ingrained in the fabric, and smear over anything else in the machine...........t umble driers are a definate NO!!!! Shocked

i would think that fabric paint pens might work... they can be rather pricey, though.
